Who we are
Mulching Knoxville is a free matching service for property owners. We are not a forestry mulching or land clearing contractor and we do not perform the work ourselves — we connect you with independent local crews who quote your property directly.
This policy explains what information Mulching Knoxville collects when you use this website, why we collect it, who we share it with, and what you can ask us to do with it.
What we collect
We collect only what is needed to pass a usable quote request to a contractor. There is no account to create, and we never ask for payment details or any government identification number.
When you submit the quote request form, we collect:
- Your name, phone number and — if you provide it — your email address.
- The property location: the city you select and, if you provide it, the property address.
- Details about the job: the service you need, approximate acreage, what is growing on the land, whether stumps must be removed, what the ground is for, your timeline, and any notes you add.
- A record of your consent to be contacted, and the date and time you submitted.
- The IP address the submission came from, used to limit spam and abuse.
Why we collect it
We use your information to pass your request to land clearing contractors serving your area so they can contact you and quote your property, to contact you about that request, to prevent spam and fraudulent submissions, and to keep basic records of requests we have handled.
We do not use your information to build advertising profiles, and we do not use it for automated decision-making.
Who we share it with
We share your request with contractors who provide land clearing, forestry mulching or related services in the area of the property. That sharing is the purpose of this service, and it is what you consent to when you submit the form.
We do not sell, rent or trade your information to unrelated marketers, data brokers or advertisers.
Once a contractor has received your request, their handling of your information is governed by their own practices, not by this policy. If you want them to stop contacting you or to delete your details, tell them directly.
We also use service providers to run the site. They process data only to provide their service to us:
- Netlify — website hosting, and the form service that receives and stores your quote request.
Calls, texts and email
By submitting the form and ticking the consent box, you agree to be contacted about your request by phone, text message and email, by us and by the contractors we pass your request to. Message and data rates may apply.
Consent is not a condition of purchase, and you can withdraw it at any time. Reply STOP to a text message to stop texts from that sender, or tell any caller you do not wish to be contacted again.
Cookies and tracking
This site does not set advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, and it does not run third-party advertising scripts. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, which include IP addresses, for security and reliability.
If we add analytics or advertising technology in future, this policy will be updated before it goes live.
How long we keep it
We keep quote requests for as long as they are useful for operating and improving the service, and to resolve any dispute about a request we passed on. If you ask us to delete your request, we will remove it from our systems.
Deleting our copy does not delete a contractor's copy of a request already sent to them. Contact them directly for that.
Your choices
You can ask us to give you a copy of the request we hold for you, correct it, delete it, or stop contacting you. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state privacy law.
To make a request, Reply to any email you have received from us and we will action your request. We may need to confirm the phone number or email address used on the original submission before acting.
Security
Quote requests are transmitted over an encrypted connection and held by our hosting provider's form service, where they are not publicly readable. Access is limited to the people who operate this service.
No system is perfectly secure. Please do not send us sensitive personal information — financial account details, identification numbers or health information — through this site. We never need it.
Children
This site is intended for property owners and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has submitted information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle your information, we will update this page and the date at the top. Material changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
